An imaginary meeting of the CCP

Fiction. Well maybe not. As custom demands, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) Chairman bowed to the members of the CCP State Council. Calling the meeting to order, the Chairman said, "Please report on the progress you are making toward ’taking America down a peg or two.’ Comrade Minister of Health, please report."

"Mr. Chairman, began Minister Ho, "the Wuhan Virus Program is exceeding our expectations. As we expected, the virus caused a pandemic damaging to the American economy. Plus, it had the positive benefit of helping to alter the outcome of their 2020 presidential election in our favor.

"The American pharmaceutical industry responded robustly with several vaccines; however, their scientists failed to detect the gene-altering component of the virus and did not address it. The virus is programmed to be aggressive toward those with the DNA found among the inhabitants of Western Europe, the U.K., and, in particular, among Anglo-Americans. Consequently, fewer and fewer American couples will be able to reproduce healthy children. By 2050, we will have depopulated the United States to a more manageable level.

"Mr. Chairman, Comrade Defense Minister Chi has more good news and I yield my time to him."

"Mr. Chairman, the order by the American President that all members of his Department of Defense must take the vaccines shots created the unexpected benefit of causing some of the best and brightest of their armed forces to refuse to take any of the hastily produced and unproven vaccines. Consequently, many active and reserve personnel are being given dishonorable discharges.

"Our program of building airbases and ports on tiny atolls in the Spatley Islands is allowing us to exert greater hegemony over the South China Sea. Our longer-range anti-ship missiles are forcing U.S. aircraft carriers to stay so far from our mainland that their fighter-bombers do not have the range to reach us.

"Mr. Chairman, Economics Minister Comrade Minh wishes to speak."

"Mr. Chairman, our Belt and Road Program of making infrastructure loans to struggling nations is giving us access to ports and airfields around the world. Many of the struggling nations have defaulted on their loan payments and we have been able to seize valuable properties around the world, particularly seaports.

"Cuba is the latest country to enroll in the Belt and Road Program. That means a total of 143 nations have signed the Belt and Road Memorandum of Understanding. Cuba, combined with our port on Abaco in the Bahamas, gives us control over the approaches to the Atlantic side of the Panama Canal.

"Our efforts to reopen the Old Silk Road that connected China and Rome and on to Eastern Europe is receiving strong support from Iran. And, in return, we are sharing our advanced nuclear weapons technology with Iran. We anticipate Israel will soon cease to exist."

"Thank you, Comrades Ho, Chi, and Minh. We are soon approaching the time when we, not the Americans, dictate who has freedom of the seas. Unfortunately, our comrades in the American Democratic Party are starting to meet resistance to their efforts to destroy the American Middle Class. But, overall, our plan to become the world’s greatest nation is on track. Thank you, comrades. We are adjourned."
