Mail-in ballots: What are the facts?

The late, great, Democrat U.S. Senator Daniel Patrick Moynihan famously said, "Everyone is entitled to his own opinion, but not his own facts." Democrat presidential candidate, Joe Biden, says, "There was no evidence whatsoever that mail-in voting could be affected by fraud." But President Trumps tweeted, "There is no way (Zero!) that mail-in ballots will be anything less than substantially fraudulent...Mail boxes will be robbed, ballots will be forged & even illegally printed out & fraudulently signed."

Let’s check the facts: At https://www.heritage.org/voterfraud, The Heritage Foundation provides an interactive map detailing over 1,000 recent cases of voter fraud. A click on any state produces a detailed list of voter fraud convictions or fines.

In all, The Heritage Foundation found 1,285 cases of proven voter fraud, resulting in 1,110 criminal convictions. Civil penalties (fines) were levied against 48 defendants. In 15 cases, judges found enough evidence of voter fraud to either invalidate elections and/or order new elections. In 17 cases, government watch-dog bodies invalidated or ordered new elections.

Ken Paxton, the Texas Attorney General says, "I can say unequivocally that around two-thirds of election fraud offenses prosecuted by my office have involved some form of mail-ballot fraud...These prosecutions include instances of forgery and falsification of ballots."

Here are some other ways to commit ballot fraud: 1. When non-U.S. citizens, convicted felons, and others not eligible to vote obtain ballots. 2. Impersonating voters who have died, moved away, or lost their right to vote because they are felons, but remain registered. 3. Bribing voters to cast either an in-person or absentee ballot for a particular candidate. 4. Forging signatures on ballot petitions. 5. Voting in more than one jurisdiction based on multiple false registrations. 6 Using phony names and addresses in jurisdictions where the applicant is not entitled to vote. 7. Crooked election officials stuff ballot boxes, allow illegal "assistance" inside the polling place and/or alter vote totals.

Modern printer technology allows "ballot harvesters" to manufacture absolutely perfect replicas of official mail-in ballots. "Flaps and seals" technology, developed by former FBI director J. Edgar Hoover and by the CIA, allows ballot harvesters to surreptitiously open sealed ballot envelopes, alter the contents, and then drop the ballots in the mail.

In rural/mountain America, millions of RFD postal boxes sit alongside the roadways unattended. Ballot harvesters rifle through the boxes, pull out the ballots, alter the ballots to suit their needs, forge the recipients’ signatures and cast the ballots.

Alternatively, once the ballots are mailed to registered voters, the ballot harvesters go from door-to-door posing as voting officials and offering "voting assistance," to include mailing the ballots. With ballots in hand, the harvesters look for ballots favoring their party. Those ballots get mailed. The other ballots go in the trash.

Invalid and fraudulent ballots dilute the votes of honest citizens. They can change the outcome of elections, leading to unfortunate foreign-policy decisions such as Vietnam. For example, in 1948, the mysterious appearance of 87 "lost" ballots sent Lyndon Johnson to the U.S. Senate.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi wants the next Coronavirus relief bill to include an additional $400 billion to fund a nation-wide, mail-in ballot system in time for the November presidential election. Now, why is that?
