Mr. Obama: Tear down this...mystery!

When the paternal grandmother of Barack Hussein Obama II claimed she was present at the birth of BHO II in Kenya, some who opposed Candidate Obama asserted BHO II was ineligible to serve as president. The Obamamateurs countered by claiming that Senator McCain’s birth in the Panama Canal Zone disqualified McCain from presidential service. That is how the “birther” controversy started.

But it was not until Donald Trump questioned Mr. Obama’s nativity that the mainstream media addressed the question of Mr. Obama’s place of birth. Boxed in between plummeting poll numbers and Mr. Trump’s assertions, Mr. Obama decided it was time to produce the long-form of his birth certificate which the Obamessiahs immediately hailed as authentic.

But those who oppose Mr. Obama’s policies were quick to find document experts who say they would have to have hands-on access to any document before they could determine its authenticity. Moreover, some claim the copy of the long-form birth certification consists of “layers” which are evidence of alteration by the use of Adobe PhotoShop Illustrator software.

In the spirit of clearing up the confusion about Mr. Obama’s past, here are two suggestions: One, Mr. Obama should give the original birth document, not a copy, to the document-experts at the Library of Congress for examination. Two, Mr. Obama should fill out Standard Form 86 (SF 86), the U.S. government form which must be completed by anyone seeking government employment that involves access to classified information

Considering the legal chaos that would ensue should Mr. Obama turn out to be ineligible to serve as president, this columnist would prefer for Mr. Obama’s eligibility to be proven. But it seems fair to ask why it has taken almost three years for Mr. Obama to make public what he says is his true long-form birth certificate?

Is it because the birth mother was three months pregnant when she married? Or, that Barrack Hussein Obama already had a wife back in Kenya? Or, could it be that the Barrack Hussein Obama shown on the birth certificate was not, in fact, the actual father of Barrack Hussein Obama II?

If one reads the two autobiographies by Barack Hussein Obama II, which this writer has done, Mr. Obama makes much of the idea that his birth father was a scholar, and a freedom-fighter in the struggle against British rule in Kenya. But if some less distinguished person were the actual father, Mr. Obama’s credibility would suffer a serious blow. Or, could it be that the actual birth father was not black but, instead, a native Hawaiian or of Polynesian or Japanese extraction?

Despite two autobiographies, much of Mr. Obama’s personal history remains a blank slate. There are questions with regard to the Social Security number he uses, with regard to his residences, employment history, academic records, relatives, police record, drug and alcohol use, previous investigations, financial records, court actions, group associations, foreign contacts, travel, and activities.

By completing Standard Form 86, Mr. Obama could put an end to all the unsettling suspicions about his, hitherto, largely unknown past. Again, all that would be needed is a simple two-step process: One, give the original of the birth certificate to the Library of Congress for verification. Two, fill out SF 86. Thereby, Mr. Obama could put what he calls “silliness” behind him and move his presidential reelection campaign on to what he feels are serious issues.

But until the questions about Mr. Obama’s mysterious past are resolved, one can expect to continue to see slogans like this being passed around the Internet: “If you voted for Obama in 2008 to prove you are not a racist, you will need to vote for someone else in 2012 to prove you are not an idiot.”
