2020: The year of Malevolent Forces

Ever since the start of 2020, Malevolent Forces (MFs) have stalked the land. It started with the Red Chinese Coronavirus which turned out to be less lethal to the general population than the usual flu but deadly to seniors with underlying health problems.

Initially, the Forces said masks (face coverings) were bad. Now, the Forces say masks are good. Hopefully, enough people will wear masks to protect our seniors from virus-spreading coughs and sneezes.

Then, the Forces decided law enforcement is bad and should be defunded. Beating up people, destroying public monuments, and stealing large, flat-screen TVs are to be applauded as "Rolling Reparations."

The Forces decreed some brand names must be changed. Uncle Ben’s long-grain, wild rice is gone. Now, we buy Goya Mexican Rice. Tip: Combine Goya Mexican Rice with Goya Red Beans. Yum. Aunt Jemima pancake syrup is gone. But real maple syrup from Canada tastes better.

Who knew Mrs. Butterworth was of color? But then, maybe not. The chef on the box of Cream of Wheat is gone. We switched to gluten-free grits made from corn.

We never liked the Washington Redskins football team. The Redskins do not play in Washington, D.C. Their stadium is in Landover, MD. How about "The Maryland Mediocres?" As the late, great U.S. Senator Roman Hruska famously said, "Mediocre people are at their best, most of the time."

During the quarantine, we watched the "Evolution of Evil," on the American Heroes Channel. The Nazis were burning books, shutting down free speech, firing newspaper editors, confiscating firearms, running the German economy via a handful of compliant corporations, using street gangs to beat up people they did not like, torching stores, breaking glass, using the mass media and the film industry to spew hatred for Jews, gays, gypsies, and anyone who did not adhere to the Nazi ideology. Seeing Nazism in the 1930s was disgusting enough. But watching today’s CNN and MSNBC or reading The New York Times and The Washington Post praising the same kind of behavior triggered the OFF button.

Initially, the Forces said the Red Chinese Coronavirus (AKA Covid-19) would kill 2.2 million Americans. Our hospitals would collapse under the patient load. Fortunately, despite statistics manipulated to capture more Covid-19 funding, none of that happened.

The Forces said the number of Chinese virus cases detected would be the most important indicator. Turns out, the death rate is the key indicator and the death rate is lower than the ordinary flu. More testing produced a spike in virus cases detected. Likewise, more IQ testing would produce a spike in Morons detected.

The Forces said Hydroxychloraquine (HCQ) was bad. But large, controlled-case studies in Detroit and India show HCQ helps the blood carry life-saving oxygen and reduce inflammation, saving thousands of lives. But HCQ is not a "cure." What "cures" the Chinese virus is the body’s ability to generate enough anti-bodies to defeat the virus.

The bad news is a lot of folks will get the Red Chinese virus. The good news is that about 99-percent will suffer little or no adverse effects. We are likely to learn that the shutdowns killed more people than the Red Chinese virus ever did. Also, brace for a Moron outbreak.
